Hi, I'm Nikol – and I think reading is one of the quiet joys of life.

🌿 A personal start

Learning a new language can feel overwhelming, messy, and frustrating.
I've been there.

That's why I began creating my own tools — simple, visual flashcards that bring a bit more calm, beauty, and intuition to the learning process.
But honestly, this journey isn't just about language.

It's about something deeper:
Reconnecting with the joy of learning.
The kind that has nothing to prove — only something to feel.

The joy of sitting down with a story, of hearing your child ask "what does that mean?"
Of letting a word unfold slowly, like a secret.
Of playing together. Or being still, together.

Of those quiet moments — with a book, a question, a smile — where time slows down and life suddenly feels full again.

📖 Why I started – and what I missed

I've always loved words — in every form.
Books, stories, questions, languages.

But somewhere along the way, learning became something rushed. Pressured. Goal-driven.
And I missed the slowness. The playfulness. The magic.
I missed the joy of not just "knowing more" — but feeling more while learning.

🌼 Thank you – and let's stay connected

Thank you for being here.
If you'd like to try a free sample, visit the flashcards page — or follow me on Instagram for thoughtful learning ideas, small language wins, and everyday reflections.

And if you love reading, stories, or just slowing down — you'll find more of that on the blog soon.

Let's learn gently. Read slowly. And make space for meaning.

What I believe

I believe learning should feel kind.
That reading isn't a task — it's a way of being present.

That stories, questions, and small discoveries have the power to bring us closer — to each other, and to ourselves.
And that quality time, whether shared or quiet and alone, is just as important as progress.

These cards — and soon, my blog — are here for people who want to learn in a way that's not just effective, but meaningful.

For visual minds.
For slow mornings.
For curious hearts — young or grown.

For anyone who believes that the little things we read, ask, or share… can shape the way we live.

Be the first to know about our new stories!

There's a kind of silence that makes you flinch — and then there's the other kind, the one that wraps around you like a warm blanket. I found the second one deep in a dense green forest, where the path barely showed beneath my feet and the trees leaned in as if whispering secrets to one another. But the moment...

The day has come. It's just before 11:50 a.m. The train is about to arrive. I'm excited, my mouth is dry, my stomach is in knots, my palms are sweaty. I worry that maybe I shouldn't have worn this outfit.

Over the past weeks, as I spent eight to ten hours a day traveling by train across the country, I received an unexpected lesson about time and patience. At first, I was just counting the travel times, departures, and arrivals; the outside world blurred past, serving only as a faded backdrop to my restless, often tense thoughts. Yet, amidst the...

Finding Myself in a Swedish Lake. You'd think that stepping into the water means leaving the world behind. But I've come to believe it's the moment you step closer to yourself. That's what happened to me, on a quiet summer day, standing at the edge of a lake nestled deep in the Swedish woods.

"These cards helped me slow down and really think about what I was reading. The questions are simple but deep, and they made it easier to write and speak in English. I loved how I could relate the story to my own life."

Nina K. (parent, homeschooling)

"My daughter used the cards while reading the book for the first time. It made reading in English feel more like a discovery than a task. We even answered some of the questions together over breakfast!"

 Thomas R. (ESL teacher)

"I used the Mindcards with my intermediate students while reading The Little Prince in class. The discussions were better than ever. The cards encouraged real thinking, not just 'right answers'. Highly recommended for group work or homework."
